Grow your vision — join us this year

Considering a change in your child's education, or just starting your school search? Your child's success is our top priority. We welcome new students throughout the year — though with classes capped at 10, spots fill quickly!

How it works

From first call to first day

Four easy steps — most families go from “just curious” to enrolled within a week or two.

  1. Reach out

Call or text 985-264-5564, or email us. One of our coordinators will tell you about current openings in your child's grade.

  2. Tour the center

Come see the classrooms, meet the teachers, and let your kids get a feel for the place. Tours are relaxed and family-friendly.

  3. Enroll

We'll walk you through enrollment paperwork, the parent handbook, and everything your child needs for day one.

  4. Start the adventure

Your child joins a classroom of new friends — and you join a community of Northshore homeschool families.

Enrollment details like tuition and supply lists are shared during your tour — every family's plan is a little different, and we like it that way.

Schedule a tour

The best first step. Come see our classrooms, meet our teachers, and ask us anything — we can't wait to hear from you!

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

The answers parents ask for most. Don't see yours? Call, text, or email — real humans answer.

What classroom environment should I expect?
Small, traditional classroom settings with up to 10 peers per class — small enough that our teachers can give genuinely individual, one-on-one attention.
What hours and days do students attend?
Lower grades (Pre-K–6th) attend Monday–Thursday; upper grades (7th–12th) attend Tuesday–Thursday. The school day runs 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Will my child be socialized with peers?
Yes! Students at NHTC interact with their classroom peers every single day — during breaks, lunch, group projects, field trips, and school celebrations.
Do you offer transcripts?
Yes — students in 9th–12th grade are eligible for official transcript requests. Email kelsicavinnhtc@gmail.com to request one.
Are you a hybrid homeschool?
No. Students do all of their learning here in the classroom — the only exception is homework provided by their teacher.
Do you work with children with IEP's?
Please reach out to one of our Team Leads — they would be happy to talk through your child’s specific needs and answer any questions you may have.
